"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Thank you for a lovely stay in the house. The kids enjoyed the sports facilities and the development is peaceful and secure. "We stayed in pillac with 10 adults from 74 to 34, and 9 children aged between 2 and 18 and what a holiday we had! The house is perfectly set up for family groups as each lot can take a "wing". A really well equipped kitchen enabled us to have wonderful meals at home... meat cooked by the boys and wonderful salads cooked by Barbara's friend. Barbara was super helpful and very easy to contact the whole time. The village was gorgeous but tiny..... about a 10 minute drive for any grocery shopping....

"The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms. "We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."
