Very nice historic landmark. Room was very clean and comfortable, hotel was quiet during our stay. Kind and helping staff. The only downside is the heating system that seems to be a little old, just a simple on/off fan without thermostat.

THERE WAS NO HEAT!!! When I asked to have it fixed in my room they said “it’s an old building so we don’t have the heat going yet.” The entire building had no heat and it wasn’t an unexpected outage. literally had zero heat going. They offered me a small plug-in heater to keep by my bed. Not really acceptable for November in Chicago. They were unapologetic about no heat, didn’t seem particularly concerned. Room service food was really awful also.

We had an excellent stay. The staff was very helpful and our room was clean and spacious, and the location of the hotel was nice as the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park are both within walking distance.

I thought the staff was really helpful. I wasn’t a fan of the parking situation but the garage next door was nice to deal with. They just kept calling with stipulations like you can’t come and go with the car easily and because of concerts we wouldn’t have access at times, that kind of thing. It was convenient for transportation, walking, food and other conveniences which was nice. The room was really nice but the air conditioning/heat kept getting stuck on high blast and was too warm for our liking even when we tried to adjust it, made for difficult sleeping. Price was good and fair compared to other sites in the area.

It is an old building so We were very pleased with how clean the rooms were. Tub drained slowly but did not affect our shower schedules. Radiator was a little confusing but it didn’t bother is because the weather was beautiful. Will stay again

The smoking rooms were not available due to some maintenance. This is one of the main reasons i stay at this property. So that was a disappointment. Other than that, it was fine. I wish they made more of a effort to take care of me since i stay here so much.
