Our room was soooo hot, and there was no way to cool it down with the thermostat in our room. I would have requested to change rooms, but we didn’t check in until late, and then I discovered this issue after we were all unpacked and getting into bed. Terrible night’s sleep! Also their elevators are extremely slow!

Great location! Walking distance to multiple attractions and dining options. There is also a charming bookstore nearby. Room was clean with plenty of storage and the property is well maintained. The room windows to the back of the hotel face another building's windows, so you're better off shutting your curtains for privacy. The breakfast options are pretty standard, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only minor issue during my stay was housekeeping (requested every other day) did not return at the agreed-upon time while I was gone, so I had to request for them to come back just to empty the trash and change out towels instead of a full service as I had already returned to my room. The elevators were also a little slow, with one elevator needing repair. Overall, a great option for Downtown Chicago.

The service at the desk and at the free breakfast were amazing and very attentive. They saw we were done with our food and ask to take that off of our hands. When worried if we would be able hold our luggage there after we checked out since our transit wouldn’t leave till later, they reassured us. When we come back we are definitely coming back to this one!

When I returned, I was told my room was no longer available and I was transferred to a different location blocks away. No notice. No reason. No transportation provided. No compensation. I have been traveling for over 40 years. The worst treatment ever received.
