Lovely little hotel with parking in a secured lot a block away. Just off Lake Shore Dr., walkable to Lincoln Park, Wrigley Field, etc.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were kind and the rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is a little bit out of the way, in a more residential area, so it was quieter when were there earlier in November. The hotel is a unique building and has a lot of character with all of it's Cub's memorabilia. It is about a 15 minute walk to the red line. There are many bars and restaurant options not far that you could walk to. We didn't have a car, so we did not use the parking option. We would definitely stay again.

Extremely disappointed in my room at this hotel! I was really appalled by the facilities in our room, comfortability & cleanliness of our stay. However, there were some good parts. To start with the good, the staff was very nice. They greeted us each day and you can tell they put effort into their jobs. Also, location was walkable. 10/10 The bad- hotel rooms were disgusting and old. The first room smelled so bad of mildew we had to move before we could even sleep. Also, the bedding didn’t have a fitted sheet. Bathrooms were so gross I didn’t really even feel clean after showering. The outlets didn’t work, bathroom amenities were below average and you have to request housekeeping- they don’t come automatically. The internet/phone service in rooms were so bad we couldn’t use our phones in there. The rooms also look nothing like the pictures. 3/10

Staff was very friendly and kind, but our room smelled like stale cigarettes and urine. Wallpaper was peeling, carpet was stained and it is badly in need of renovation. Hopefully this will happen because it is a great location And the staff were awesome.

The location is quite good and the staff are friendly. But, our room had wallpaper and a carpet that need to be replaced. Worse, the smell of must and decay coming from our air conditioning/heating unit was borderline unbearable (we turned the unit off the second night of our stay). This was not what we expected.

This is an OLD hotel with old school charming features…stairs down into the lobby area not ideal for a person with mobility challenges, creaking floorboards, tiny elevator (we were congratulated at having figured out how to fit the luggage cart into it) in a great neighborhood-walking over to the shoreline made up for any of the downsides. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a window into the past.

The lobby is beautiful. The rooms looked like we were staying at a hostel. Could barely walk through the room between the bed and desk and no room on the side of the bed to walk. Horrible mattress that felt like third generation hand me down with its lumps. Had to walk blocks to park my car with a valet at midnight. Not majestic at all!!

Hotel is amazing! Everything is super clean, the staff is friendly & the rooms are comfortable & quiet. Love all the Cub decorations & memorabilia they have also. Only odd thing is I had to park in another hotels parking lot next to them.

The lobby was so cute with the baseball theme. It was walking distance to Wrigley and lots of dining options. It was a little outdated but if you need a place to sleep, the beds were comfy. The staff was super helpful and very friendly.
