"Room had all our needs and was well equipped , clean and smelt fresh at all times , staff very friendly and welcoming. Car parking was excellent no problems at all. "A bargain for Sunday night into Monday morning and right on the doorstep of who I was meeting. Lovely spot right by Chichester Cathedral with underground parking very near and easily accessible presuming you are OK on your legs and don't mind steps. "

"Great proper English pub dog friendly. All the staff are helpful and friendly the room we were in ticked all the boxes . We stayed for 2 nights clean towels on second day . Traditional pub with good rooms . Went into Chichester which was about 20min drive great day out beautiful Cathedral. We will going back to the fox goes free ."

"I don't think there is anything else we could have asked for whilst we stayed here. The hosts were friendly and just the right amount of attentive. The gardens are beautiful, and we spent a good deal of time just listening and watching the birds. The accommodations themselves were lovely as well! Very cozy, and you can tell that every detail was thought out by the hosts. We can't say enough good about this place. Highly recommend!"

"Very comfortable property, close to Goodwood Race Course. The lady gave us a lift to the course which was very kind of her. Only a 30 minute walk, but it was all up hill on the way there, so the lift was appreciated. Easy to walk back to. Clean room, breakfast very nice. Perfect location with a lovely pub just up the road"
