"The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning sea view that we thoroughly enjoyed. Molly and Ben at the reception/bar were absolutely lovely, and the rest of the restaurant staff were just as friendly and welcoming. Their warm hospitality really stood out! Although we hadn’t initially booked breakfast or an evening meal, we were so impressed with the hotel and its atmosphere that we returned twice to enjoy their delicious food after our walks and a breathtaking sunrise at Durdle Door. The thoughtful touches in the room, like the lovely coffee, bottled water by the bedside, and high-quality toiletries, made our stay even more comfortable. Everything felt fresh and newly decorated, which added to the charm. We booked at the last minute and got the last room available, but next time we’ll definitely treat ourselves to one with a little terrace! Thank you for a fantastic stay—we’ll definitely be back!"

"One of the things which makes Britain great is a traditional hotel steeped in history where everywhere you go you’ve a sense of the past and the people who’ve moved through the space and used its facilities before you. Vicky and George were fantastic hosts. We had the best time staying here this weekend. The food was terrific. The cooked breakfast was so tasty and served in a charming dining salon. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Corfe Castle who’s eager to sidestep the holiday and premier inn type hotel (they serve their purpose but they’re utterly soulless of course). Thank you for making us and our dog so welcome. "

"We have stayed at The Fairhaven a few times. The only issues are the heating which is difficult to get right as it starts out feeling very cold, then gets too hot in the middle of the night. Also the noise from people outside at around 4am the last two times has woken us. The room is lovely, although new pillows with a bit of bounce in them wouldn't go amiss. The bathroom has no heating so in the winter it is freezing cold The view of the bay is lovely. The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. We will definitely be back."

"The hotel and bar were both very good. I had been considering budget hotels when I found this place. It was a great alternative and a much better standard of accommodation and food all round. Service was excellent. Definitely use it again when in the area."

"Enjoyed a lovely stay at New Year , the hotel is ideally located. Check in was easy , the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious with a great outlook over the seafront. Room facilities were great with everything you’d expect to find . Would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to be back there again in the future."

"We stayed for one night after attending a family event. The Sleeping Bear is a great venue. Caroline greeted us at the desk and couldn’t have been more helpful making sure we were able to sort out our parking. She was so friendly and welcoming. This is a lovely, clean and smart hotel. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and hope to in the future. "
