"This property was amazing! The staff is so wonderful and made our stay extra special. We enjoyed the hot springs and all of the tours at the property. Bryan made any and ALL requests so easy, and Reuben took us on a hike and horse back riding trip and they were perfect. We felt a sense of exploration and relaxation all at times. The town of chachaugua is only a short distance away and had a fantastic little soda with pizza and empanadas, and a ice cream shop that had $1 ice cream… I cannot say enough about how special this hotel and staff is. We 100% would return and recommend. "

"Our stay at Finca Luna Nueva Lodge was simply unforgettable. The place is stunning — surrounded by lush nature, peaceful energy, and vibrant life everywhere you look. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and nourishing, and the warm hospitality made us feel truly welcomed from the very first moment. And the yoga shala is simply magic! One of the highlights of our trip was the night tour with Dani in the forest — such a fascinating and enriching experience! She guided us through the local fauna with incredible passion and deep knowledge, showing us frogs, insects, and nocturnal life in such a respectful and exciting way. She even took beautiful photos with her phone to share with all of us — such a thoughtful touch! We also highly recommend treating yourself to a massage with Alexandra — she’s incredibly skilled and intuitive. One of the best massages we’ve ever had! This place is a true gem — relaxing, inspiring, and full of heart."

"This property is absolutely beautiful and everything you see in the pictures. The views are incredible, the bird watching from the porch provides hours of enjoyment, and the accommodations are very comfortable. Our family enjoyed the pool and leaving all the sliding doors open to feel the cool breezes of El Castillo. Even though it is listed in the description, I did not realize the property didn't have air conditioning and was initially concerned, having just come from the coast where it was very warm. But El Castillo is much more temperate and the breezes keep everything very comfortable in the house. The need of a four wheel drive vehicle is absolutely necessary as the road leading up to the house is steep and very rocky. There are many wonderful restaurants close by. No service stations and only a small market, so plan accordingly. Close to the volcano, zip lining, and the La Fortuna waterfall. Would definitely recommend!"
