"Our suite had amazing views and plenty of space for us to relax in. Check in/out was simple and reception staff were helpful and friendly. The lounge area did have damp in it, which i think is being tackled by a heating unit. "We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "

"Overall good with one caveat and a slight disappointment. The house was very comfortable to live in for a week, very well equipped, lovely lounge, comfortable kitchen, conservatory and outside space for all the family. The one issue for us were the quality of the mattresses. The upstairs main bedroom was way too soft,and the downstairs front bed also too soft. The other issue, not to do with the property was there was a warning on the beach not to go into the water because of poor water...

The bed was so comfy, and the addition of the electric heater in the bathroom was perfect; it made the hop over the to the toilet in the middle of the night bearable. "It was for our wedding anniversary, love Canterbury and was our first visit to the hotel. Beautiful place, shame we had scaffolding at the back of us, which we looked on to, really rattled and the plastic was flying around due to the high winds."

"Amazing hotel full of history. Gorgeous clean room and a bath to die for. Will definitely be back. The young lad on reception that looked after us was fantastic. He even came to find us when our room was ready early. A very old building full of character and squeaky floorboards but that just added to its charm. "
