Very much suggest arriving during daylight, as the trek up the driveway and remoteness of the location can be a bit overwhelming in complete darkness. "The motel was comfortably located right off the expressway for an overnight stay on our road trip. The person manning the front desk, I think his name was Justin, was very courteous. On entering our room we found the heater was blowing cold air (this is winter). The thermostat was non-responsive. We called the front desk and Justin promptly came up and fixed the issue and got out thermostat to work. The breakfast was decent and hot."
