"The historic Steckel carriage house was one of the most delightful places we have ever stayed during our many travels. It was exactly as advertised and then some. Our hosts were so thoughtful and we really enjoyed the coffee station and delicious homemade granola! The beds were super comfy and the office area setup was perfect for getting a little work done while on vacation. We HIGHLY recommend the Steckel carriage house when you are in the Bloomfield area! "

"This is our second stay for a fishing trip to Lake Rathbun and it will be our "go to" place on any future trips. Wives would even be excited about staying here! Some of the deigner decorating maybe lost on us. Convenient for parking boats and close to the lake. Good place!"
