"If you're looking for a comfortable bed, clean room and can tolerate a drizzle of a shower (even after they sent someone to fix it), this is a great place to stay. Safe, steps from a beautiful clean beach with chairs and umbrella included, nice and helpful staff. Good restaurant and bar onsite, late breakfast or lunches til 6, lots of options nearby too. "The shuttle to and from the beach was great. We were close to the beach and many dining options but set back in the quiet green space of the golf course with the opportunity to enjoy a nice cup of coffee on our balcony and watch the roosters and the monkeys in the morning."

There is a delicious Jamaican restaurant and a bakery and coffee shop on site. And Peter’s fruit and vegetable van is parked out front daily. "My stay at Chi's Guesthouse was quite comfortable. It offered a little snippet into Barbadian culture, as it is nestled in a quiet neighborhood. The area is also safe, so it's perfect for early morning walks. There's also a garden, and the host is very friendly."

"We loved our stay at Sugar Bay. The staff are wonderful and the location is beautiful. The food is some of the best quality we’ve had at an all inclusive. There is a slightly more limited choice for food compared to some of the bigger hotels, but it is varied enough (with themes some nights to break it up) to ensure you don’t get fed up. There is a great beach side bar, with a great choice of cocktails and a beer/wine/brut when you want something less sweet. The cocktails are good quality, but understandably not quite city cocktail bar standard. However, certainly good quality for an all inclusive, and always served quick. The bar staff were fantastic too. The staff around the hotel, especially Kimberly and Shamara who were seen cleaning around the ground floor, always greeted you with a smile and conversation. The rooms were nice, but without many frills, and some slight cosmetic damages - but with the beach as beautiful as it was you didn’t want to spend any time in there anyway! "

"South Point Hotel in Barbados is a hidden gem on the south coast with excellent service and delicious food. We had a fantastic and comfortable stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional.The beds were soooo comfortable! It is highly likely that we will be visiting again before the year is out!"

Amazing child-free getaway

"I travel a lot, both for business and pleasure and this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The room (307) was enormous, clean and the bed ultra comfortable. I like that we had both aircon and ceiling fan. Three-way French door to the balcony had a mosquito nets, and the hot tub worked! But what was the best was the food. Absolutely best AI food I had in any resort I have been. Great variety and lots to choose from. Smoked marlin was absolute top. Staff was very friendly, cocktails yummy and the beach was a picture-perfect! The hotel was getting sunbeds and parasols to the beach daily and they also came to the beach to take our bar orders and brought it to us! I hardly stay anywhere twice, but I will definitely come back to Abidah."
