"Amazing location and unit. Well outfitted with dishes etc. Had to pick up a few things such as dish soap,and HE laundry soap, paper towels and some spices (lots of salt but no other spices). Beach towels provided and cleaner comes 2x per week. Snorkeling is best on the ledt side ftom the beach along the rocky shore. Saw lots of fish and a sea turtle twice. Out at the iguana pole at the end of the path there is a ton of anemones and it gets clearer."

"Luis met us and was amazing getting our overstuffed luggage form the highway down to the river and across the river with a small boat. He guided us and helped us from beginning to end. He carried the biggest, heaviest bag on his back in his bare feet! Thank you Luis. "La Jolla is a small condo complex sitting up above beach level. There are stairs that lead to the small, quaint beach where you can have food, massages, rent kayaks/paddle boards, or hire out a boat excursion. We love it here. The one restaurant on property is excellent but isn't open year round. You might have to navigate a couple flights of stairs depending on condo but they were working on extending the elevator when we were there last."

"Property could use some maintenance items addressed, lots of burnt out light bulbs in halls, stairwells. Room patio door handle was loose and did not lock securely. Buffet was almost the same every day except for an item or two that was featured. "The resort and staff were amazing. The only issue we had was paying for the North tower, but they were out of rooms so we were put in the South tower. I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff was. The rooftop pool was very relaxing. The restaurants and room service were also really good. It takes a little bit to get used to always having to “tab” out when eating and drinking, even with the all inclusive package. It was a very quiet resort compared to others we visited in PV."

"For the price it is very good option, convenient, close to a bus stop, a beach, a store. We loved that the room has a living space and two bedrooms, a stove for those who want to cook. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The only issue is with bugs and mosquitoes. We should buy a spray from the first day of our stay. Otherwise, it was a good vacation."

Price and location make this property a gem

"This was our 4th stay at Casa Iguana and we will return. Our room was very clean. You get 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and living area. There's no TV in the bedrooms; however, there were many channels to choose from and our reception was excellent. There are some minor cosmetic issues that could be attended to. And garbage around the property outside our room could be picked up. There were some people partying so there were a lot of cups, cans, and noise. BUT... the price is so reasonable and breakfast was very good. The air conditioner worked very well in our room. If you're looking for a 5-star hotel, this is not it. But if you're looking for a nice place, it's great. We were on the 4th floor and there are no elevators so be prepared for steps! We love the location as the ocean is about a 5-minute walk. The zoo is about 5 minutes the other way. The bus stop is very close and you can ride to Puerto Vallarta for $1 (for 2). Excellent restaurants such as El Jacalito and Tony's. The Patio del Cuale was excellent one night and good the other. We saw so many whales on this trip it was magical."

"Hotel Mousai is an amazing hotel. It was so clean and pristine. The grounds were beautiful and lush. It felt as though Hotel Mousai thought of everything you could want in a hotel stay. Room: 5 stars The room was very spacious and beautiful. The mini bar was always well stocked. Our balcony had an amazing view of the ocean and the mountains. The hammock and hot tub were perfect to end the night in or watch the sunset. The room came with an iPad that controlled the lights, drapes (A for the blackout drapes) and music. We loved that the room came with a speaker system. You could Bluetooth your own music or play music already loaded onto the iPad. Most nights we would come back to the room and the beds would be turned down, lights would be dimmed, and soft music playing. It was a lovely touch and Thank you to Luz for taking care of our room all week. The bidet if you’ve never tried it, is great! Food: 5 stars The food was delicious everywhere we went. From Dao, Bocados, Blanca Blue it was 5 stars always. Even the food by the pool was delicious. Often times, food at an all inclusive is not the best but this food was absolutely delicious. Staff and service: 4 stars The staff was so friendly and accommodating everywhere we went. Omar at the pool was the best. Carlos our butler helped us with all our reservation needs. The only downside was the concierge trying to convince us to attend their demonstration. It felt pushy at times. Besides that, this hotel was hands down the best "
