This was our first time at this resort and it was amazing. The staff was more than top notch. Everyone seemed to be happy to help and be available for you at any time. The room upgrade was perfect!! The rooms and resort was clean and I had no issues with anything!! Thank you for a stay we will always remember.

It’s an old villa-style resort with outdated buildings and rooms. The breakfast is just okay, but the ocean and beach are beautiful. However, it’s not worth it for families with more than two people, as they charge 1,400 MXN per additional guest per day—even if you don’t need breakfast.

The staff was excellent!!! the buffet was very nice; good food and also had the option of ordering off a menu. We had steak one evening from the menu at no up charge and it was delicious. The kids enjoyed the amenities at the facility. The sister hotel offers more dining options and a show. We attended the Mexican buffet and the show at the Sands. The costumes for the dancers were beautiful and the authentic dance, outstanding. Provided for dessert were authentic Mexican pastries and cookies. We were up graded to an ocean view room at no cost and at ground level, nice! If you want to do excursions ask at the hotel, we went through Viator and it seems that the hotel could have offered at much less.... At least search this option. We had already booked prior to our arrival. The water had a lot of seaweed, there were some areas that were better for swimming. I enjoyed the area that we stayed, the waves were not big. The beach area was kept clean and monitored by security. We used the spa services and Elizabeth was wonderful!! Definitely treat yourself. We paid for the all inclusive having teens with us, the drinks were good, not watered down. The kids enjoyed alcohol free specialty drinks at no extra charge. On our trip home the kids shared that they already were missing Mexico. That's a memorable trip in deed. We would for sure return to this location.

Place was nice and low key. It has activities to do throughout the day. Just make sure to scan the QR code and check it out. There are a good variety of food option but I got sick of it after day 3 of 6 days there. Coffee shop does offer good coffee. The mocha frappe with extra shot or 2 of expresso did it for me. The heated pretzel was a good snack to take to the pool too. The staff are overall nice and friendly. The even crew aren’t as nice and friendly like the ones during the day. There was always a spot by the pool and the beach. We did wake up @7ish to save a spot if you wanted one close to the pool or a covered area at the beach. Keep in mind the spot at the beach further to the right on the beach, you will not have WiFi reach there. Room service is always quick and attentive.
