"We booked this for myself, my mum and my 11 year old daughter for over Christmas as we were spending Christmas with our family who live round the corner.What a find, it’s absolutely beautiful, so comfortable and spotlessly clean. I really can’t fault it. We didn’t really want to leave and we will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you and all communication with the host was brilliant."

Very clear check in and check out and fully equipped kitchen for cooking full Christmas dinner for 12! Loads of fridges and ovens made life so much easier. Excellent pubs and eating super close!"

"This little home was the perfect getaway for myself and two friends on the lead up to christmas. The house was beautifully finished, cosy and clean. We loved the wood burner and the Christmas decorations. The home is just off Harbour Street, which was just a treasure trove of little shops, wine bars and restaurants. My American friend who had never ventured out of London before said she felt like she was in the holiday!Thank you for the perfect weekend, we will definitley be back!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Host was excellent: knowledgeable and welcoming. Location was good, secluded enough but easy to get to all areas of the island. Food selection in kitchen was fab and available 24/7, never had that at a b&b before. Room comfortable and internet readily available too. "

"We had a very comfortable stay at Kingsdown. The house was well equipped with the basics. Finding the holiday park was difficult - we passed it a few times before a local showed us the way in! If possible drive through deal to get there instead of the narrow road through Kingsdown. Host was super responsive and helpful! "

"The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had."

"A lovely well-kept and equipped seafront flat with all the amenities - we were lucky with gorgeous weather and saw a lot of Margate plus enjoyed the beach and the tidal pool. Just a lovely lovely break."

"This tasteful and well appointed chalet with great facilities is very close to the seafront, which you reach through a nice back garden. Swimming here was great as the shelf is quite steep so you get a good amount of time either side of high tide. The place itself is a pleasure to stay in and we can't wait to come again."

The bed was so comfy, and the addition of the electric heater in the bathroom was perfect; it made the hop over the to the toilet in the middle of the night bearable. It’s open year round so we’ll definitely be back when it’s colder and we can have the fire going! Wendy was absolutely lovely when we arrived and our daughter made a new friend in her wonderful dog."

Location, location, location!

"The location is PERFECT! We were right in the middle of everything surrounded by restaurants, pubs and shopping. The cathedral was less than a 10 minute walk away. Our room was a large size considering we were in Europe. I can't think of any better place to stay while visiting Canterbury."

"Have stated many times before and will in the future. It is as expected, clean and comfortable, friendly helpful staff. It is a nice hotel with a pub that serves great food, although it could do with a bit of refurbishment as is getting a little tired round the edges. I always recommend it to anyone coming to the area."

"This is the second time we have stayed but the first time we had breakfast the food was lovely only we would of preferred it if the tea and coffee were served to the table as we were backwards and forwards to the buffet I know this is a very small issue and slightly petty but it would of been nice staff fabulous will definitely stay again hotel spotless and we had a lovely big room we will return and use the spa thank you "
