"Great place to stay near Blois town centre, in what was the location of original Poulain chocolate factory. Modern ish building, not superbly maintained though. Lift was out of order most of the time we were there, which was a major inconvenience for an elderly member of our group, and luggage transport. The newly refurbished bedrooms are great, not much storage space around the bed but good enough. "

"Comfortable, all we could have needed and a good location"

"My friends and I had an amazing stay at this lovely house. Especially the outdoor area was beautiful and the pool was great! The house is just a 10 minute drive from a lovely town and shops for groceries. The hosts even organised for us to go horse-riding at their horse riding school which was a great experience. Overall, we loved our stay and had the great time. Eloïse and her father were a great help when we needed it and they were such lovely people!"

"Nous sommes restés ice pendant presque deux semaines. Le Gite trés confortable et bien equipé. Nous avons apprecié le calme du gîte et aussi explorer la region. les chateaux,les eglisés,etc.Le vin á Domaine du Chapitre est, deux minutes Excellent! .La piscine á St Aignan aussi trés bien avec deux piscines chauffées. "My family and I had a wonderful time at this clean and comfortable house. There was everything we needed with many thoughtful touches. The house and property have a lot of history, and the hosts were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. We would definitely recommend this spot to anyone, and will try to come back again to stay!"

"This is a lovely rustic country house on an acreage minutes away from Amboise. The hostess Marie-Josephe is a lovely woman who is very generous with her produce from her garden and fruit trees. Her free range chickens are entertaining and the eggs are delicious! We would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet, out of the way location, yet within minutes to Amboise, the Chateau, restaurants, and vineyards!"

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

You'll need a car to access this property, however, there is a grocery store and bakery for morning breakfast near-by (~10 minutes by car). The friendly host lives adjacent, so check-in was very easy. Thanks for a great stay!!"

"The location and staff was amazing. Close to everything within walking distance. Our room had the indoor and outdoor terraces which had a spectacular view ! Can’t beat that view ! You can’t eat in the rooms but this suite does allow for ur breakfast to be delivered as room service so u can enjoy the amazing view of the Loire River as you eat the yummy breakfast. "

"Beautiful place to stay with outside terrace and bar. The spa was lovely, although the pool a little cold The bar and terrace was closed the second night we were there for a private function, disappointed we wouldn’t use it and no other provision was made for residents to have a drink. There is a large restaurant area and some of this could have been used. "
