I regularly stay in the Somerset Chengdu and I came to Chongqing this year for the Lantern Festival. Somerset Yangtze River Chongqing did not disappoint. The rooms are a very high standard and the breakfast was excellent. I will definitely stay here again next time that I come to Chongqing.

The hotel is very clean with many amenities. It is located beside the Yangtze River so you can take a walk along the river any time. Convenient access to the 解放碑 central area where you can taste Chongqing just at one place. Remember to use the elevator!

Lovely place but hard to get cab
The apartment is great, so comfortable like home. The staff are so friendly and helpful although it’s hard to communicate as most staff English are not so great. The only prb I have is it’s hard to get a cab back to the hotel as a lot of the cabs said that they do not know the hotel and refused to take us.
