The hotel gardens and lobby area are beautiful. The rooms are a very good size. Half the staff are wonderful, the other half isn’t. Fairly modern rooms, but the carpet was separating from the wall in one area of the room making it a bit of a tripping hazard.
Helpful tips: Don’t use the vending machine. The hotel takes no responsibility for it and it was regularly not dispensing items to people.
If you’re a woman travelling alone be aware that the back parking lot is not lit overnight, and the back door button doesn’t work on the inside (or at least didn’t when I was there). This meant walking in the dark all the way around the building to get the car. Couldn’t see anything and felt very unsafe. Given it was not working when trying to get out of the building also seemed a fire hazard that the button to open the back door didn’t work. “24 hour reception” didn’t appear present during this time.
I don’t know if it’s the hotels policy not to clean the room every day, however, during my stay they didn’t. If this is their policy they should make guests aware.
