We loved that our room was water front (2nd floor). We can hear the waves all night. Resort has a nice open atmosphere. Over all it was a great experience staying and visiting the island 💕

Super clean, everyone very friendly. Always options to eat that were good. Very quiet to sleep. No elevator so if you have problem with steps get first floor room. Views were awesome. Taxi service at hotel very good

Depends on what you are looking for..... Room was great, staff was good.... except the front desk girl.... VERY limited food options and not very healthy...but plenty of liquor and beer that is American and safe. The rooms have been redone but the resort itself has a long way to go. The views are spectacular but don't forget your water shoes. All in all we would go back but just for a long weekend.....

Beautiful property with amazing beach and views. Food was terrible!! Some of the bartenders didn’t even acknowledge you when trying to get a drink. Pool was not heated and hot tub did not work. Has so much potential but the food and service is unacceptable. Hopefully they get that fixed. It could be amazing.

Good food & drinks. Nice beach & pool. Small resort. Cons: DJ 3 nights/week playing Gen Z Miami night club music LOUD for hours. Need more entertainment. Theft: $100 was taken from my wallet in the safe. My husband did not take it. Never happened before, we've traveled to Mexico and Carribean islands 25 times. Safe worked before dinner, returned & it would not open, had to get maintenance the next day. Being small resort, it's easy for a thief to see you and know when you're out of room. Do not keep money in the safe.

This was a great hotel, rooms were semi clean- I asked for room service and they never came the 4 days I stayed. This is why I alway clean myself, the staff was nice but it was a couple of front desk clerks who weren’t as nice. Didn’t speak say good morning, it felt like I was bothering them, they need some customer service classes! The one bar tender white man was the nicest. He explained things to us as this was our first time, always made sure we had drinks and food ready! He definitely needs to be in charge of the waitress and bar tender’s.

This location was perfect as a getaway for couples. However, the online pictures are from when the property was renovated 2 years ago. It appears since that time, there has been limited groundskeepers. Of the three shown beach areas, only one was not over run by grass, weeds and debris making them not usable. The resort didn’t even bother to put chairs out anymore. The beach third area was limited and it was not because of washed up sea grass. Sidewalks, parking areas and other outdoor spaces were overgrown as well. The staffing was “light” but everyone there was working hard to try to make the property functional. We saw about 10 employees trying to keep the whole thing running. Even with that, the staff was super friendly and helpful. They truly seemed to be happy. We stayed in a villa on property and it was nice despite the fact that every time it rained water came in under the door. We spoke with another couple who had been to the resort two years ago at the pool one day and they couldn’t believe the change since their first visit. Additionally we spoke with honeymooners staying who agreed that the pictures online did not match the experience we were having.
