"We had such an amazing stay at this hotel, our stay was only two nights and we wish we could have stayed longer. Not only was the hotel clean, quiet, and easy to get to, but the view from our room was beyond amazing. The ammenities were so lovely, with a quiet onsen spa with views of Fuji, and easy access to a hiking trail that leads to a beautiful viewpoint up on the hills. If youre looking for a luxury hotel with once in a lifetime views of mt Fuji, this is the place for you. "

"Plenty of restaurants right outside and down the block, the hotel is just a block away from the station entrance, but at the time of the visit, the entrance was being fixed. This is absolutely not a deal breaker because literally right across the street, there was another entrance. "

"We stayed in a standard double room with a queen size bed, room is spacious, modern and clean. Toilet is in a separate room, the shower/tub is in a good size room; both are clean. Hotel offers private spa based on availability which is nice for couples and young families. 10 minutes walk to Takayama JR station and 15 minutes walk to the old town."

"This hotel is located about 10 minute walk from JR Nagoya/Shinkansen Station and subways. It is a transport hub, however it is not in the downtown area which is 20 minute walk or 2 train stops away. It is also right next to a construction site so the outlook isn’t good but surprisingly the noise is blocked off and we hardly heard any noise during our stay. The hotel in general is comfortable and clean and the breakfast is good too."

"Overall it’s good. Nice bar and sauna, efficient check in and out. Good vibes. But rooms are a bit small. We had a corner room which has excellent view but the bed is in the middle of the room, making a small room with even less room to walk around. The wooden bed frame is way too big for a small room and we have to be very cautious when we are in the room to avoid hitting our toes. Also the lightning is bad. "Great staff: we reached very late at night. The manager was kind enough to extend our onsen reservation for half hour without us asking. He stayed well past the midnight to make sure our onsen experience is complete! We are so grateful to him. Moreover, the facility is much nicer than we expected: Large lobby and living facilities, great decor and the private onsen is out of this world!"

"The Nagoya JR Gate Tower hotel is most centrally located to public transportation: JR rail lines, local train lines, Shinkansen, public buses, taxis. Shopping & dining options are just 2 floors down below the 15th floor hotel lobby, with a very nice convenient Mart & a pharmacy on the same floor. The hotel is very clean & well maintained. All staffs work really hard to welcome & serve guests. Mr. Fukunishi helped me check in so graciously. Breakfasts at the hotel’s Gatehouse restaurant (a beautiful restaurant) are so fresh & delicious. It is a real delight to stay here! "
