"Wow, we had a 3 bedroom lodge with hot tub, and it was absolutely perfect 👌 Clean, spacious and beautiful views. Staff were very helpful, had to call as the boiler went off, they arrived promptly and fixed in 2mins. Shout out Will, great quiz and funny bingo night. Would come back in a heartbeat 💯"

"We had a lovely stay in the apartment - exactly the break that we needed. We have come to Westward Ho! many times and we really enjoyed our time, being so close to the beach. The apartment is cosy, has everything that you need for a vacation - a home away from home."

"Comprehensive directions to the property which we found sparkling clean and spacious. Lovely lounge area with tv and dvd. Great beds and bath/shower rooms. Outside sit around the large garden table with a glass of something and watch the beautiful sunset across the valley."

"The property fulfilled all our needs. It was comfy and quiet. Unfortunately on the last night our car, with French registration, was scraped all along the side. Clearly, parking in a public square makes one more vulnerable to such incidents. "I used to travel a lot for business and I often thought what makes great customer service in a Hotel. I've had some stays where staff should clearly not be engaging with customers. Why am I saying this ? That is because of my amazing experience and the fantastic team at H.Inn Express in Exeter. They understand great customer service and provide it every day ! They are a credit to Holiday Inn Brilliant team Brilliant hotel Breakfast amazing 10/10 in every aspect - greeted with a smile and a pleasant warm welcome every day. Will be back ! Keep up the amazing work."

Beautiful place to stay

"The room was fantastic. But could do with a few bits of maintenance. (Towel holders could do with being reattached. That sort of thing). Lovely old building, but the room was lovely and modern, with great features. Nice grounds and great views. Nice swimming pool. But the changing room was really cold. Pumping cold air in there wasn’t ideal. The only part that let it down was breakfast. We were greeted by a lady who looked like she didn’t want to be at work. She took us to a table set for 2. We were a party of 2 adults and a child. Then seemed put out that she had to do another setting. 2 of the party are gluten free and the woman was told this. The toast came out fine, but the breakfast came out with sausages containing gluten. We were asked how we would like our eggs. We asked for hard yolks or flipped. They came out runny. One of the younger girls came and took the breakfast away, removed the sausage but the eggs had only been “flipped” on the plate and not cooked any more. Eggs not cooked right isn’t too bad but to give someone something that that allergic too is poor. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy. The 2 younger staff members seemed much more helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again but would give breakfast a miss. "

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for more. We liked everything about it, the quaintness, the rooms, bar and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and polite and it was so convenient for the shopping centre. We highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

Exceptional stay..

"Hotels was in a great location and suited my needs. The room although only a single was spacious and comfortable and equipped with everythihg you needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The fitness suite was great and had the use to it during my stay. The joined restaurant was spot on with a good selection of meals. Even a complimentry drink. Restaurant was busy with large parties but it didnt slow down the service times. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone, with families or solo travellers."
