"The hotel was kind of expensive, because I learned when I got there that UCLA was playing at the Rose Bowl stadium the next day..Note to self-may want to avoid Pasedena on those days! Still, the staff was so welcoming and unusually helpful and upbeat, even though we were meeting them at midnight to check in!
