Nice small hotel at a reasonable price, very close to Vatican/Castel St. Angelo and easy to walk to the other locations, also with a metro station nearby. Also close to restaurants. Room/Breakfast are simple but enough. I would stay again for a short trip in Rome (we were a family of four, spending the day enjoying the city, going to the hotel only to sleep). Reception staff was also very helpful (the lady provided us a map with the main points when we arrived, and always addressed quickly any issues we had).

I’ve stayed at the Horseshoe about 4 times this year in 2024. I’ve never experienced anything bad/negative. Checkin is a breeze and the customer service has always been kind and helpful. The rooms are clean. Excellent location.

The suite we stayed in was awesome fantastic but everything in that hotel was so overpriced. It was so expensive to stay there to eat or drink there. Other than that, it was a gorgeous property but very very expensive $24 for a well drink
