"If you are looking for a slower paced experience, this is a lovely place to stay. The neighbors are friendly, and the tavern at the end of the road had wonderful food and good service. The village was peaceful and charming. It was easy to get to almost anywhere in Scotland with 3-5 hour drives. The road in to the village is quaint and you need to take your time getting in. All rooms have a private bathroom except the 2 upstairs share a big bathroom (which works great). We had everything we need! Lorraine is wonderful with her help and communication! Always willing to answer questions! Town is fun for kids and adults! And there is supermarket with all the necessities in town The only thing I would say, if you are coming with older...

"The property had everything we needed. Sitting outside in the evening was very nice. The log burner was cosy after the sun went down. It was only a few minutes drive to the local shop and distillery. That being said,some mould remover and a lick of paint wouldn't go amiss. shop and distillery."

"Sadly we were unable to enjoy the break as much as we would have liked. Absolutely nothing to do with the resort. Quite the opposite! I unfortunately took unwell. Peter, the First Aider could not have been more attentive and dialled 999. He stayed with me until the Paramedics arrived. I was Blue lighted back down to Dunoon and kept in overnight. Once I had seen the doctor again the following morning and released from hospital. Portavadie sent Josh, a duty manager the 1.5 hours down to pick up me and my wife and return us to the resort. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced such care anywhere else in the past. "
