"I booked a room here after my flight was cancelled. The 2 girls on reception when we arrived on 23/11 were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. They really went all out to make sure their guests were comfortable and had everything they needed. Even popped up to the room to let us know they had booked our early morning taxi back to Edinburgh airport. "

"Turned up early in the hope of checking-in before 3pm, to be given my room at 10am! I wasn't expecting that! Lovely, quiet, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Ordered room service for evening meal which arrived exactly when stated. Food was great, tray outside was cleared away promptly. When checking-out i was able to leave my suitcase onsite for the day. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff are all very professional, friendly and i will certainly return. "

"My partner and I needed a place to stay on our way up north, and since he grew up near the Hydro, we decided to give it a go. What a good shout! From DoubleTree's classic, warm cookies to the spaciousness of the room, we felt at home and comfortable. The Hydro also oozes Victorian charm and boasts stunning views of the surrounding area. What's not to love? It's actually a shame we didn't stay longer. We're keen to return, especially to try The Kailyard by Nick Nairn. My only issue is that the room door allowed a lot of noise through which was a slight disturbance."

"Perfect, affordable, pleasant and modern hotel. Free parking, room service, and there were sockets in walls available to charge our phones!! Real bonus. It was great to be able to use lift instead of climbing the stairs with heavy suitcases!! Hotel is conveniently positioned between Edinburgh and historic Dunfermline and close to the airport. Restaurant menu was not very exciting but the atmosphere was very pleasant "
