"We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away...

"Good: Beautiful and very quiet and peaceful location. Great for hikes and trail runs. Comfortable enough apartment on the grounds of a spectacular 15th c.Priory. Fab bbq’s and swimming in the little pool. Felt very safe and private. Host was very friendly and gave us the freedom of her lovely home. Less Good: - Depending on what you like this could be good: There is nothing at all within walking distance of the accom. You need to drive to Fleury (15 mins) for the supermarket or a restaurant....

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"

"The property was exactly as described and very comfortable Francoise and Benoit could not have been kinder or more accommodating and we had a wonderful 5 days. It is close to everything one wants to see, all in the most bucolic and beautiful countryside.An additional benefit is "la Pause Rabutin" on the corner, which is a delightful cafe. The property itself is a stone's throw away from chateau Rabutin, well worth a visit. I would be happy to return here at any time!"

Auch kam vorletzten Tag ein Mail, welches von möglichen Zusatzkosten...

"The house was lovely and our host was so helpful and welcoming. The host even left croissants for us one morning. The village the home is in is very quaint and the bakery was one we visited each morning for fresh bread. There is also a Saturday morning farmers market that we visited with a wonderful selection of vegetables, olives and cheeses. My friend who lives in the area is planning to go there again for a bit of a retreat. I live in the states or would certainly go back."
