Cozy and comfortably furnished holiday apartment in an apartment house on a hillside on the Glockenberg in Altenau. Your holiday home is equipped with a terrace and WiFi. Enjoy the fantastic view that your holiday home offers you and let yourself be inspired to take a variety of tours in the Harz. After your return, you can visit the Kristalltherme Heißen Brocken, where you can spend relaxing and restful hours. The climatic health resort of Altenau is not only one of the starting points for hikes on the Harzer Hexenstieg, but also houses the largest herb park in Europe with a beautiful spice gallery. You should also not miss a visit to the Altenau private brewery with a guided tour and tasting. It is the only remaining brewery in the Upper Harz. Altenau is located in the middle of the Upper Harz, around ten kilometers from Clausthal-Zellerfeld and 15 kilometers from Goslar. To the east, 12 kilometers away, is the peak of the Brocken. Bereits zum zweiten Mal feierten wir Weihnachten und Neujahr in der Bärenhütte. Der diesjährige Rückblick fällt etwas kürzer aus als der letzte, aber der Aufenthalt war genauso wunderbar. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und hoffen, in Zukunft wiederzukommen!

Bei der Ankunft auf der Bärenhütte scheint es, als ob wir nicht erwartet würden, aber das ist unsere eigene Schuld. In den Reiseunterlagen ist eindeutig angegeben, wohin wir gehen müssen, um den Schlüssel abzuholen. Glücklicherweise ist unser Ansprechpartner (Herr Leonhardt) sehr geduldig und erklärt uns telefonisch, was wir tun müssen. Beim Betreten waren wir sofort positiv überrascht. Was für ein Raum! Und wenn man das Wohnzimmer betritt, was für eine Aussicht! Lecker. Das Wohnzimmer ist modern eingerichtet und verfügt über ein schönes Sofa. Es gibt einen (Smart-)TV, sodass Sie abends einen Film genießen können. Im Wohnzimmer führt eine Treppe hinunter zu einem Schlafzimmer. Diese Treppen haben kein Treppenschutzgitter. Denken Sie also daran, wenn Sie mit (kleinen) Kindern unterwegs sind. Unser Jüngster ist 4, das läuft also gut, aber mit jüngeren Kindern kann die Treppe ganz schön spannend sein. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und es gibt mehr als genug Arbeitsfläche. Es gibt eine separate Toilette im Flur und eine Toilette im Badezimmer. Das Badezimmer sieht etwas veraltet aus, ist aber im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung. Ein schönes Bad, eine separate Dusche und zwei Waschbecken. Die Betten sind bequem (weiche Matratzen) und es gibt schöne warme Bettdecken. Jedes Schlafzimmer (außer das im Erdgeschoss) hat einen eigenen Ausgang zur Terrasse. Die Terrasse ist geräumig und kann auch im Winter zeitweise gepflegt werden. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass sich die Wohnung in fußläufiger Entfernung zu einem wunderbaren Wellnesskomplex befindet und Sie sogar noch näher eine Bäckerei finden. Alles in allem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit hier! Wir haben bereits für nächstes Jahr gebucht.
