Diana was very welcoming, and made us feel so welcome. The property could do with some updating, but was clean and warm. Loved the walk along the river, and seeing Toni catching some of the local salmon.

Once on site the greeting was amazing just like your own family, could not ask for a better opening. The room was perfect for two adults with everything you need fridge, stove tops, microwave, toaster and all the utensils. Room was very comfortable. clean, but they are renovating so be patient. Would recommend in a flash and if need be would go back again. Keep up the good work and a great smile.

This is an unique old school motel. It is very clean and comfy. Diana, an owner, welcomed us. We had an issue with our TV which was quickly taken care of.

Owners of the property were great, very friendly and communicative. Easy check in, room was very clean (almost too clean, the only downside was a stronger cleaner smell on arrival which did go away after an hour or two). We had a great sleep and couldn't even hear the road from room 5. We had our dog with us and there was lots of grass for walking about. We would absolutely stay again! Thanks so much :)

This property is older but has been updated recently and is quite nice. Not much for amenities but Little Fort is less than 5 minutes away. The staff are very friendly and caring. I will definitely stay here again.

A rural setting, by a river. Peaceful, even though by a busy highway. Inside our room it’s quiet. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Reasonably priced.

So disappointed with our one night stay. We had stayed here a few years ago and liked it. So it was our choice again for this trip. We were SO disappointed. And won’t be staying here again. The property looks run down, dirty and cluttered. Water hoses across the sidewalk creating a tripping hazard. Little to no conversation when we were checking in from the desk clerk. No lights on when we entered the front desk area - what a weird vibe. Went to our room to unload, found it was just the bare minimum and furnishings were very worn, also had some “dust bunnies” around the room. One of the chairs had big rips across the vinyl seat. Yuck. Room was hot (no air conditioning but we knew that from previous stay), turned on the portable fan(which was also very dusty), opened the only window that had a screen, and eventually we cooled off and slept. On a positive note - bed was comfy. In the morning, room was very light (no room darkening curtains on the kitchen window so it got bright very early). So we got up to shower and check out. EXCEPT there was no hot water. AT ALL. Tried to run the faucets to see if it would come on but it didn’t. So we had to leave without showers. Went to talk to the front desk about our concerns and check out (around 8:40 am) and the front door was locked. Sign wasn’t on. No lights on inside. No one around. So I dropped the key in the “early” check out box (didn’t think 0840 am was early on a Saturday in the summer) and left. So disappointed.

We stayed for one night and had a great experience. Diana, was warm, welcoming, and made check-in quick and easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a short stay. The property has a peaceful riverside setting, perfect for relaxing after a day of driving. Would happily recommend this place to anyone passing through Little Fort.

New owners go out of their way to make you happy. Hotel is a bit north of the tiny town. Not much for dining in the area, but that is expected. Owners doing a great job in improvements and upgrades. Definitely would stay again if in the area.

The property was taken over by new owners 3 months ago and they have done a huge amount of work on it. Though old, everything was well kept and meticulously clean. The amenities (toiletries etc) provided were over and above the usual offered. The property itself is on the edge of the river and is lovely. I only met the lady owner, but she was very friendly, considerate and accommodating, even offering me free organic apples from an Apple tree on the property. I would definitely stay here again and am recommending it to all my friends.
