Welcome to Westhill Haven – your perfect family retreat, offering both cozy fall and winter getaways, and summer fun by the pool.
The Space
As the cooler months arrive, the heart of the home is a large family room with a warm gas fireplace. Dim the chandeliers, snuggle up with one of the 4 faux fur throw blankets, and unwind in the fully reclining couch and loveseat. For extra warmth, you can use the portable electric fireplace anywhere in the house.
For those chilly evenings, gather around the outdoor fire pit in the backyard, stocked with a small supply of pecan firewood. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the crisp air, whether sharing stories or roasting marshmallows.
The home features 4 bedrooms, each equipped with walk-in closets and ceiling fans:
* The master suite boasts a California King pillow-top mattress with down alternative pillows, 100% cotton bedding, and an ensuite bathroom with double sinks and a luxurious bathtub. An air purifier ensures a fresh environment.
* Two Jack-and-Jill rooms sit across the hall—one with a Full bed and the other with a Twin—connected by a shared bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub.
* The guest room on the opposite side of the house offers a Queen bed and is adjacent to a bathroom with a standing shower.
* All rooms except the master overlook the backyard pool.
The home is packed with family-friendly amenities, including a closet full of dress-up clothes, a play kitchen in the dining nook, and accessible children's dinnerware. For infants, we offer a playpen with a padded mattress cover and new baby bottle brushes.
In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need for home-cooked meals: pots, pans, utensils, and a comprehensive spice collection. Baking ingredients are available in the pantry, and the farm dining table easily seats up to 8. The breakfast nook features a coffee bar stocked with a Keurig, Texas Pecan coffee pods, teas, vanilla creamer, and more.

* Light dumbbells, yoga mats, a foam roller, and a treadmill for your fitness needs.
* Dimmable chandeliers in the family room for creating a cozy atmosphere.
* Back patio café lighting on a timer creates the perfect evening ambiance, along with 2 bug zappers to keep the area comfortable. The lights kick on at dusk and can be set to turn off after 2, 4, or 6 hours each day.
* A laundry area fully stocked with dye and scent-free cleaning supplies.
Summer Poolside Fun
When warmer weather arrives, Westhill Haven’s backyard pool becomes the highlight:
* Relax by the pool on the patio, equipped with seating, Adirondack chairs, and 2 lounge chairs.
* Fire up the charcoal grill with a smaller smoker for a summer feast.
* Take a dive into the pool with a diving board, or enjoy the 3-foot shallow end, perfect for wading.
* A supply of goggles, floaties, sunscreen, and bug spray are provided for your convenience.
* A ceiling fan on the porch keeps the air cool during hot days.

Guest Access
You’ll have full access to the entire home, with the exception of two small locked closets and the garage. For stays of less than a week, my daughter and I use the RV at the back of the driveway, ensuring your privacy. For week-long stays or longer, we relocate to local RV parks or travel. Please feel free to use the front circle driveway or park along the street if you have additional vehicles.
