This property is well-loved by the owners! It was delightful to see what lengths they went to keep with the mid-century theme. We found many things from our childhood in their lovely home.

Would definitely visit again
The house had just the right amount of character. It was unique, outfitted well, bed was comfortable, and we loved the screened in porch. Mary was super accessible and a delight to deal with. We would definitely visit again.

Best spot ever!
Back again in this cozy house in the woods! So quiet and peaceful yet minutes from everything. You can work out in the basement or just relax by the gas stove on the main floor with its wall of windows and screened porch - and games! Thanks again for a great stay!

Peaceful Retreat
What a cool property with some interesting history. With soaring windows nestled in the tall trees, it was so quiet and relaxing! But also very tastefully decorated and comfortable. I really enjoyed staying here.

Long weekend
We had a great stay. Mary was a wonderful host. We enjoyed the guest house. The screened in deck was fantastic and we used it most nights. The location was perfect for our activities. And we enjoyed Tavern 6 which was just a few minutes away. We would definitely stay again.

Quick overnight in the Midcentury.
Cool property. Lots of things to reminisce over. Owner very responsive, easy check-in, quiet, super comfortable bed. Rainy day when we left, would have liked to spend the day there reading.

Super cute little cottage
Owner was very accommodating and extremely nice. She even shared the history of the building which was very interesting and added to the ambiance. House was very clean and well decorated and stocked with necessities and treats. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Relaxed retro vibe
We were here for a weekend, Mary, the host thought of everything. The house had everything we needed, including extras like coffee and waters, shampoo, hairdryer, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened deck for coffee and again in the evening for nostalgic board games and adult beverages. Loved it.

Hidden Gem
Tucked away in a quiet corner of a small leafy estate this house was perfect for our stay. The house is well equipped and the furnishings and decor thoughtfully put together to provide a quaint homely setting but with all the mod cons. Would heartily recommend it to anyone visiting the Cleveland/Willoughby area

Lots of character with indoor and outdoor spaces
This is a great place with tons of space and many nice decorative touches. It is cozy and comfortable with lots of personality. Loved the screened in porch for enjoying the outdoors. The hosts were very helpful and friendly but did not intrude. Multiple nice parks nearby too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Over the moon
Our stay was perfect, our host Mary was so easy to communicate with and left us the best little Solar eclipse trove of Moon Pies and Sun Chips with a special boutique popcorn made for the solar eclipse event. The home was immaculately decorated in mid-century vibe, was extremely quiet, private and located close enough where we needed to be! Wonderful! 5 Stars across the board!

Cozy & Quiet!
My husband and I were in town for a wedding at the Tall Oaks Lodge & we needed a close place to stay for one night. It was about a 10 minute drive to the venue, so easy to get back to! The space was decorated adorably & we were greeted by the owner on arrival. Love the history of the building & the screened in back porch. Great fall views in November! We were sad we couldn’t stay all weekend to enjoy the house more!

Cozy and Nostalgic
We enjoyed our stay at this place- it was spacious but cozy at the same time, and very clean. It had a lot of homey, vintage touches that made it feel like we were back in our childhood. Without driving far from the house we took in Historic Kirtland village, the James Garfield home, and a bit of the North Chagrin Reservation on this early November weekend trip. Everything was beautiful outside in the surrounding property, neighborhood, and general area. The hosts are kind and have made it an interesting, atmospheric, and comfortable place to stay.

Maine to Texas
This place is adorable! Better than the pictures and supplied very well. Decorated so beautifully! Furniture is comfy. The screen porch is like a tree house nestled in the trees. We played board games on the porch while we listened to the rain. So nice. The neighborhood is so beautiful and quiet. A great place for walking. Would have loved a longer stay!

Lovely.
The guest house is everything I want a vacation rental to be - cozy, memorable, welcoming, spotless. I only wish I had more time for the screened-in porch. Maybe next time. Loved the selection of games. I don't often come to Cleveland, but now I'll be looking for excuses. Thanks for sharing your treasure Mary!

I really enjoyed staying at this property. It felt like stepping back into the home of my childhood with the interior full of features from 1950's to 1970's. All was in good condition and appliances were new. It is perfect for two people staying upstairs. I was the third person sleeping in the basement and it was slightly musty in the summer down there. The HVAC can be loud at night as it is located in the basement. Earplugs could solve that. The roll away bed was quite comfortable and the aforementioned decor was fun as the basement is a family room. I would stay here again. The manager was great. There are forest trails to enjoy nearby for a morning hike.

Cozy and Quiet
Totally enjoyed our multiple night stay at this cozy and comfortable cottage. The host family was very friendly and welcoming. We felt completely comfortable and safe in this woodsy residential neighborhood. The home is very clean and tidy. The amenities are appropriately described in the listing. Watching the fall colors change around us day to day was an added highlight. This country feel place is a hidden gem, just off the main road, but close enough for us to thoroughly enjoy the nearby attractions in Cleveland and the surrounding countryside. We will definitely consider staying here again when we return to NE Ohio.
