Clifden's premier holiday home with heated pool + sauna - sleeps 24

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (19)
"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

Property 444 - Clifden - sleeps 11 guests in 6 bedrooms

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (5)
"Location of property was perfect, right in the town centre. It was large enough for 5 adults and 6 kids. Layout is slightly awkward in terms of kitchen at one end of the apartment and living room at opposite end. Besides that point, we loved it! "

Beautiful lake side cottage in the heart of Connemara

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (94)
"My family very much enjoyed this rental. We searched all of Ireland and parts of England and looked at basically every rental that met our criteria. The house is off a main road that has neighbors, but it is very private and none of the neighbors are near by. The house is well designed for two couples or a family of 4-5, and without much clutter. The kitchen has all the gear you would want, including fry pans that are still non stick. The location of the house is not too far from Clifden and not...

"This was the best place we stayed in Ireland. Equipped to a high standard. It is a great base for exploring the Connemara region and avoiding the hustle and bustle of Galway City. Clifden has all the amenities needed and lots of restaurants. The owner has Guys Bar which is one of the most pleasant pubs we have visited with outstanding food. We ate there three times. "

House with character

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (86)
"Our host greeted us upon arrival and did a thorough walk through with us to show us around and how to operate everything. The home heats with wood stoves and a boiler so she helped get everything started and warmed up. The bedrooms suited us perfectly - we had 4 adults and 5 kids age 10-15 and the set up worked great. The home is very private but easy to find. "

"I was captivated by the photos and the description of this property when I was looking for a quiet country spot for us to return to the Wild Atlantic Coast for my Christmas-Birthday. It is actually the only one I reviewed…you had me at hello! Though rustic, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The setting is gorgeous and we enjoyed interacting with the sheep, working dogs, and neighbors as we took long strolls down the very narrow lane. The proprietor was friendly and...

"Our family group of six spent six gorgeous days at Brian's Atlantic Lodge in Cleggan this winter. And our stay was perfect. From the host's unobtrusive but warm welcome, to the comfortable yet elegant home itself, including daily fresh eggs(!), our time in Galway County and at our home away from home was absolutely wonderful.
