"very nice facility, while i did not use the vending machines I notice they were pretty empty, only 1 or 2 items. Very nice breakfast area but I felt the food item selection was minimal. No Orange Juice only some blend, only whole milk, don’t drink it, no decaf coffee, had to settle for mini powdered donuts and the juice blend. Quite happy with the spacious room. Would willing stay here again if I was traveling into this area."

"This little Casita was perfect for a couple days of fishing at Lake Whitney and t(e Brazos river. The place was really clean and well equipped. The only negative is it’s on the west side of the lake so it’s hike to get to a grocery store, but I knew that going in since we owned a property in a near by development several years ago. No complaints here…would stay there again."

"We recently bought a camper and have been traveling around Central Texas looking for a lake to buy some property on. This was our first time at Lake Whitney. It is a pretty lake, close to family and very laid back and relaxing. The RV spot is large and shady, with a firepit and all the hookups necessary. It is a great location, in the neighborhood close to Whitney Ridge marina. We will definitely be back soon!"

"Our family had a great time staying at J’s Place. The kind hosts paid attention to every detail in making the home comfortable for their guests. The children and small pups loved the big backyard and tree swing while the adults enjoyed the spacious home to gather and visit. And the ping pong table was loved by all! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We enjoyed being so close to Walling Bend Park to get on the boat we rented from Whitney Ridge. I highly recommend this...

"I booked this cabin 6 months ago for the solar eclipse. Managed by VRBO. I got there and no way to access property. Turns out they have long term renters in there. Spent the night in the car. VRBO did get me a hotel for the second night but ... What a way to start a vacation."
