Checkin with a prior reservation was a breeze. The room was modern and clean with plenty of light. The bed was comfy. However, I noticed when using the back door to the parking near my room, the outside door doesn't lock! That's not a big concern though since there's a deadbolt on my door, the Motel 6 is in a good area of town, and Sedalia is not a high-crime town anyway.

I and my partner were rudely berated by the female front desk staff over a simple misunderstanding. I tried several times to apologize to her in an attempt to resolve the issue, but she continued to raise her voice to me and call me rude. I finally just walked away and returned to my room. The issue was finally resolved, but I will never book here again.

There was an overwhelming curry odor that didn't go away. The guests staying around my room were noisy late into the night and early in the morning. Not the hotels fault, per se, but they should enforce volume with their guests. I was moved from my original room due to a nonworking TV remote but I didn't realize until too late that the room I moved into was missing the safety look. Also, the sheet I had on the bed, while being clean, had a cigarette burn mark. The place is supposed to be smoking free. Where I was told would be easiest for me to get to my room was the side door where guest would stand and smoke. The ground outside was covered with cigarette butts. Otherwise, the location is convenient and had secure parking.

We travel for alot of extended weekends. It is for specfic events. We look for the cheapest, cleanest, closest motel we can find. Dont need frills. Just a clean bed and bathroom. This place was fine.

For what it was as far as a bed to sleep in, it was okay. Room was in the basement, no fridge, no microwave, had to clean the toilet before being able to use it. If your looking for just a quick place to sleep that’s about all you get

Don't waste your time or money
Terrible. Supposed king size bed was barely a double, shower curtain rod shoved into wall, coating on inside of tub was peeling off, and there were roaches. We killed at least 10, 2 of which were almost the size of my thumb. Also found mouse droppings in the morning. Left without spending the second night. Didn't bother to try to cancel and get money back since we could get another room elsewhere until 3 pm.

This hotel is absolutely DISGUSTING roach infested sheets dirty. We went to our room after a long trip and working and left immediately. Asked for a refund and still yet to receive that. DO NOT STAY HERE

Its understandable when opting for a motel over a hotel to expect a different experience. We arrived to our motel6 for a 4 day stay, never greeted couldmt find anyone to help, just a ring door bell to notify someone who came 15 minutes later, check in took 20 minutes. Not a problem things run behind. However the problem was with the unsanitary conditions of motel over all, animal feces smell in the hall, black mold in the air units, uncleaned bathroom all together, roaches and a few more i wont mention. When brought to attention was giggled at, told we had high standards and switched to a slightly cleaner room but with roaches, was booked for a wedding stay couldnt get any other hotels booked so a lesson was learned.
