Experience a fantastic coastal escape just steps away from breathtaking water views, with the shoreline visible right from your front door. Our property is strategically located just four houses away from two private beaches, offering you a slice of paradise. Additionally, you can take an 8-minute stroll to the Clinton public beach, which boasts an array of amenities, including a playground, basketball hoops, volleyball net, a paddleboard table, and grills with a pavilion for your enjoyment.

To make your stay as effortless as possible, we've thoughtfully provided:
- **Linens:** Your beds are prepped with freshly made linens, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
- **Towels:** Luxurious towels are available for your bath time needs.
- **Beach Towels:** No need to lug around extra towels; we've got you covered.
- **Umbrella & Chairs:** Relax under the sun in comfort.

As you step into our beautifully cooled home, you'll find it equipped with brand-new central air, offering over 1200 square feet of living space. The layout features three bedrooms on the first floor, with an additional loft bedroom on the second floor.

The fully equipped kitchen awaits for those days when you prefer to dine in, and you can also relish the warmth of our relaxed backyard while using the brand-new grill. Garbage removal service is provided weekly on Wednesdays for your convenience.

The main bedroom boasts a luxurious new Gel-infused memory foam Hybrid KING bed and a TV. The second bedroom offers a new full-size bed with a heavenly mattress topper and a TV. Another spacious bedroom features two new Gel-infused full-size beds, each equipped with a TV. The loft upstairs provides a unique sleeping experience with a 5'4" clearance and accommodates two new trundle twin sets and a single twin, totaling five twin beds. Cooling is provided by a separate window AC unit.

On the front porch, you'll discover a game table and a full futon, while a massage chair beckons for relaxation after a day in the sun. The two full bathrooms include one with a laundry unit. Enjoy an invigorating outdoor liquid sunshine shower for those hot summer days.

Relax in the comfortable living room with plush couches, where you can watch television and play games. The dining table easily accommodates ten guests.

Outdoors, unwind on the sectional or dine at the outdoor table set. We've also provided plenty of new beach chairs and an umbrella for your beachside relaxation.

For water enthusiasts, we offer 2 kayaks and 2 paddleboards, along with a junior kayak (life vests included). Please use caution while enjoying these watercraft, as there are no lifeguards at the private beaches. Beach passes are available, but please note that we are not liable for your choice to use these items, as they are provided as an additional convenience.

Wonderful Getaway

Best hidden gem
We loved our stay. The home looks small from the outside but it's so spacious. The flow of the house was very opened and comfortable. The home had everything listed and more and was very clean. The beach was minutes away. It was quiet and the best getaway. We will definitely be back.

Clinton Roots Trip - The perfect home base
Laura's home is in a charming shoreline community, the beach a minute away , and the sea breeze every where. Laura's home is decorated beautifully and had everything we needed. Thoughful touches everywhere. We are planning a return trip for next year!

Location location location
What a charming and quaint house and neighborhood! The house fit the ten (10) of us comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked (pots/pans/utensils) for all our cooking needs. Loved grilling out (the grill could use some maintenance) and eating on the back deck. The shed had an adult & kid kayak and a kayak trolley which was so helpful. There were two (2) paddleboards (both were missing fins from, I imagine, being dragged). There were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. It was a short walk to the beach and Rte 1 is only a short drive to grocery/package stores and Dunkin'. Laura responded quickly to all of my queries. I loved the location!

Relaxing, peaceful beach cottage
We rented this cottage for 3 weeks and enjoyed every day at the beach and hanging out in the cottage. There were plenty of very comfortable beds for everyone. The beach decor was perfect and the massage chair was amazing! It was literally a 5 minute walk to the private beach. We were thrilled with all of the beach chairs, umbrella, paddle boards, kayak, and more. We enjoyed eating an earlier dinner so that we were back in time to watch the most beautiful sunsets. That was one of my favorite things on this vacation. The location of the cottage is a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, restaurants, etc. The only area that needed a bit of improvement was some finishing work on the kitchen floor and back part of the cottage. I assume they are just in the process of getting it all done. The owners are very nice and easy to work with before and during the rental. I would recommend this rental to anyone who is looking for a quiet beach vacation with lots of relaxing time with family and friends.

Great location but in need of some improvements
The location is amazing and its in a sweet little community. All the beds were comfortable and no one was crowded in their bedroom. All linens were provided which was a big plus! We never had any issue getting in contact with the owner and always a quick response! However the home does need renovations. The front door we found very difficult to properly close and lock up, the kitchen floor is very unstable and we think that this is how the refrigerator shelves were always wet (we think it was leaning forward). The back back bathroom had an odor we couldn't detect. And the hammock in the back was not safe at all. My niece tried to lay in it and almost fell threw. Regardless of the issues with the home it was adequate for our short stay. We all enjoyed our time there and the main point for us was a family reunion and that what was most important!

House WAS clean, nice bedding, and even a massage chair that was entertaining. Beach location is very close, but house didn't go into rules or access to it in the notebook that was there. Or how to get to other beaches nearby... Most would just google it, I suppose, but google doesn't know everything... As a first time VRBOer, communication /charges on card through the app was confusing, and procedures and processes to reassure that the house was reserved, and that we would have keys, access, etc. at the time of arrival was somewhat nerve racking. The extra fees that aren't mentioned with the initial rental price are something I did not applaud. To end positive, it was cute in its uniqueness, LOTS-O beds, quiet in the neighborhood (we went in late September. The Shoreline area is homey.

Location, Location, Location- sadly in need of work
Location, location, location: this beach house is in a quiet neighborhood and just 3 houses from a private beach area. The beds were comfortable, and the linens were all clean and comfortable. The house itself was in need of repair. The back of the house was missing full walls of sidings and tar paper, blinds were broken and dirty and windows would not open or fell down when trying to open. The back hall bathroom did smell, the washing machine smelled of mold, and neither could not be masked. TVs did not work; however owner attempted to resolve the issue, but we could not accommodate a meeting time. The kitchen cabinets were dirty inside, the refrigerator leaked water, and much of the future in the living room was broken and could not stand on its own. With a little attention, this place would be a gem.

Pleasant stay!
Very cute ranch in a lovely neighborhood. Good location for access to area sites like Hammonasset Beach, Chamard Vineyard, and the Water's Edge. Not truly a "water's view", but the house had all the amenities needed for a fun stay!

A gem of a home
Everything was perfect for our extended family, attending a weekend wedding celebration nearby. The beds were so comfy and the ceiling fans/central air made for wonderful. The house comes equipped with everything in the description, we were busy with wedding events, so sadly we couldn't take advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards, but we enjoyed the fire pit every evening. The beach is steps away, and the surrounding neighborhood is quiet and friendly. None of us wanted too leave! Thank you for letting us stay in your perfect home, would love to stay again!

The house is very cute, great location, just a few steps from a small beach, in nice and quiet neighborhood. Spacious for bigger groups. Kitchen is well stocked, furniture a little outdated. Overall we had a pleasant stay, people in town are very friendly.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
We enjoyed our long weekend stay at the Count House. Its location was perfect ... easy beach access, close to the highway, etc. Everything we needed was supplied for us to enjoy the beach, cook our meals, or play games. There was only one full-size kayak with paddle and the paddle board paddle was broken (but we used it by kneeling on the board!). We would definitely return.

Lovely House
We had a great time staying here. Would definitely recommend this house. Other than a bit of a glitch due to something that had been left in the refrigerator (it was resolved ) the house was very clean and neat. We were very pleased. The communications with the host was great. She answered any messages promptly. There was plenty of room for us all (6 adults and 4 rambunctious children.) The kids liked the upstairs "loft" room, and the enclosed porch made a quiet retreat room for reading. Beds were very comfortable (though fyi for those a bit short, the single room full size bed requires a bit of climbing due to the fullness of the mattress and topper. But it was very comfortable once you got up there!) Plenty of fluffy pillows. The large kitchen table was perfect for evening board games and puzzles, which were provided. The location was wonderful, quiet street, just a short walk to a small beach area, easy drive into town. The house was fully stocked with plenty of dishes, pans, coffee maker, lots of towels ( both bath and beach), etc. The beach chairs, umbrella and toys were a wonderful plus. No problems with parking as there was easily room for our three vehicles. I highly recommend this house and host.

Great weekend with friends
9 of us stayed at the house for a ladies' reunion with college friends. House was comfortable and pleasant for a group of this size. Nice to be able to walk to the beach. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. Host did a good job with communication. Had a little complication with check-in: unsuccessfully tried to use the code listed on the check-in page on VRBO site, but the host had previously sent a message with a different code. My error in not making a note of the correct code when it was messaged to me a couple days earlier, but it did create a little confusion. Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay again!

A great week at the beach!
We had a wonderful week in Clinton! The house was perfect for our family and was very close to the beach. We are a beach family and having such a short walk to the water was fantastic. The kids loved all of the different kayaks, paddle boards, and toys that the house supplies! The neighborhood itself is very comfortable, allowing us to take lost of walks with the dog and a safe place for the kids to ride bikes. We all look forward to returning!
