Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay....

Excellent communication from her pre-check in too and she even messaged to warn us about roadworks in Terryglass. A 5 star service. "Super, friendly host Joe met us and gave us an insight into the local area and lots of information. There was just the two of us but the property could easily accommodate seven people. All the facilities that we required, a true home from home. Perfect location for our days out both locally and as far as Waterford, Dublin, Galway and Westport. Thanks again Joe."

"Would thoroughly recommend this home to stay for a large family, there was plenty of space for our family group of 6 adults and one child. The property was clean and tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside space was great, we enjoyed using bbq and dining on the decking area which had a large table to seat us all. "My wife and I came to vacation in Ireland with our 6 children. This was a lovely home that fit us perfectly. We stayed a week and traveled each day to another location to see the SW of the country. Caroline the property manager was very nice and very responsive. The only constructive feedback I would give is that it would be nice to have screens on the bedroom windows. This may not be applicable for the majority of the year, but it was very warm when we stayed, and with no A/C, we wanted to open...
