The property is good and beds very comfortable. The biggest negative was having to carry bags up and down the steps to reach elevator and or the final destination into the room. It is hard to carry large bags up and down the steps.

I normally state at the Premier Inn at Cobham but it was full, so thought I'd try the Hilton. First shock was they charge you £8 a night for the privilege of parking in their car park; now I can live with city centre hotels doing this, but this is a country hotel and therefore just a budget airline style rip off. However, the biggest issue was the power failure that left my room without water in the bathroom; I had to attend an important family event unshowered and unshaved. When I enquired about some level of refund, I was told the manager would contact me, they never have.

Hilton Cobham Hotel
Excellent, all staff were very polite and helpful, the room was very clean and spacious, had everything I needed, I was very impressed with the air conditioning at Hilton Cobham - I was able to choose my own comfort level not like many hotels - even many of the larger hotel chains - where someone else decides your comfort level I will certainly be using Hilton hotels again

Staff were kind and helpful but not very resourceful. The Aircon broke in day 1, and was still broken when we left five days later. Lots of clanging doors and noisy staff in the early morning, but nothing changed when we complained. Long on empathy, but sadly short on solutions.
