Good Stay in Cochem
Difficult to find. the room was OK. There was no Elevator. Breakfast was good. Once oreintated it was easier to find way around. The castle tour was great and informative.

Easy check-in, although they were only open for check-in at 3, not 12 as it said on the website I looked at. Secure garage for our bicycle, but charged 3 Euros to use it. Clean, quiet, great breakfast. The location was not right in the centre of the old town, but a 5 minute walk to the main square.

Parking is a problem, annexe was unfinished
Parking at Hotel Holl is NOT free, and on our first night (booked months in advance) there wasn't even a parking space available, we had to park in a local multi-storey car park and get up at 6.30 am to feed the meter. Our room was in an annexe up a rickety metal temporary staircase, into an unfinished building. The bathroom inside door handle was broken, there was a hole up on the wall beside the window filled with open wires, wallpaper was peeling over the bathroom door, there was no table so nowhere to put a laptop or a suitcase apart from on the floor, there was no chair so nowhere to sit apart from on the bed. The bathroom mirror was well lit but set so far back from the basin that you couldn't see yourself in it anyway. The receptionist was pleasant and the bed was comfortable, these were the only two redeeming features, I would never stay here again

Great value for Cochem adventuring
Easy check in, great staff, fantastic buffet breakfast, quiet back location. Rooms are not the nicest but more than adequate. The staff bend over backwards to help.

Good location for visiting Cochem on foot. Burg Etlz castle a short 17km drive. Hotel manager was very helpful with parking our car in a small garage across the street. Must pay in cash. Decent breakfast, although only available for 2 hrs. The bed/pillows were much better than other 3-star hotels we've stayed in. Very basic but OK. We stayed for 2 nights.

I've stayed in better. It was ok. Single room looked more like one you'd find in a hostel. No plug in the sink. Decent shower. WiFi wasn't working throughout my stay. It needed fixing apparently but there didn't appear any rush whatsoever to repair it. Breakfast was fine, surroundings pleasant. Stayed in Cochem before but wouldn't chose this hotel again. Very tired looking, in need of an update.

We were in area to visit Nurburgring and Hockenheim and used this as a base,this is about all it can be used for as facilities very basic. Parking was very poor if you want to leave car alday. Overall hotel was clean but lacks a few home comforts.

This hotel is quaint. Very old fashioned but nice. The service was great. The breakfast spread was made especially for us! Great touch. Location is ok. Great local small town bars to go to.

The Perfect Hotel In The Perfect German Town
This is a gem of a hotel in a gem of a German Town. The hotel is well run with pride by it's owners and is in the middle of Cochem, which is as much of a picturesque German town as you can imagine. If you are in this area, this is where you want to stay!

We only had 2 days and wanted lots more. The hotel gave us a balcony room and a great bed. The staff could not have been better and the free breakfast was as good as any we have had.

Amazing Stay
This hotel was amazing. The couple that own the place were extremely accommodating and it was just out of the touristy area so it felt very quaint. The first breakfast was in bed. Huge germanic breakfast provided. Wonderful town.
