"We stayed one night on our way to Scotland. The hotel is easy to find on the outskirts of Berwick upon Tweed and is located in beautiful grounds. On arrival we were made to feel welcome and check-in was simple. Our room was lovely, very big with a large en suite and a view over the gardens on the "pods". As others have commented the rooms are not totally sound proof, but we weren't bothered by the noise. We slept well in a very comfortable bed. Dinner was excellent. The food was very tasty and the staff extremely friendly. There was a large menu and it was difficult to know what to choose. We ate in the same room for breakfast. There was everything we needed with a small buffet and a good choice of hot dishes. We were in a rush so didn't have anything fancy or too large but it was everything we needed before setting off. If we were in the area we would definitely stay here again."

"My family and I absolutely loved this B & B. Everything was done to a high standard, the staff were amazing and great with my two little ones. The food they do as well was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay, just outside of Edinburgh. Carly, the owner is so lovely and friendly too. I honestly can't recommend this place enough!
