"The whole place needs massive renovations and did not jusify paying over 3100 euros for a 1 bedroom apartment. Considering the week after (we went on UK half term) the price drops to a third of a price, I would consider it a total rip off and taking customers for a ride. The owners admitted they are going through a 4 Million euro renovation project next summer which goes to show the state Alpina property. Don't go there until it is renovated in 2026. "

It is a 5-6 minute walk to the August Arch and the pedestrian shopping street where there are many small purveyors of local cheeses, salamis, wines, coffee bars, and restaurants.In addition there are many retail stores selling clothing, leather goods, etc.It is a 5 minuter drive to the Pila GondolaPhotos of the apartment were a little less than accurate. "Overall a nice chalet and a great position in the village, perfect for our needs. Nice kitchen and large living area with good size table. Great to have 3 showers and plenty of storage for 8 of us. Plenty of hot water and heating works well throughout. We would suggest an update to lounge/seating area but perhaps some lounge chairs. Village has 3 good resturants and bars are good. "Stayed in the residence - self catered apartments - which have been nicely modernised over the last few years. Basic setup but has everything you need for a ski trip , and the property is right next to the lifts so virtually ski-in, ski-out. Value for money can’t be beaten anywhere in the alps.
