"We had a wonderful week. Communication beforehand was great and nothing was too much trouble. If youre looking for bright lights and busyness this is not it - though its only a car journey away. The pool about a minute's walk down the path was beautiful. The cottage was clean and contained everything we needed. Would return."

"Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Use of grounds and pool. Very friendly, helpful, hosts gave lots of advice on things to do and places to visit and nothing was too much trouble. "This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Easy drive to food shops and literary a short walk to Château de Dampierre-sur-Boutonne which is definitely worth a visit. There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "

Superb Chateau, full of charm, a superb and caring host - a wonderful stay!

"Great location & parking. Rooms are clean spacious and quiet. Wifi good. Breakfast is good, evening food is limited but there are loads of restaurants nearby. The hotel is pricey, but still cheap compared to Parisien or coastal prices. "
