I contacted the hotel to let them know in advance that I would be checking in late, they said that nobody could stay later than 10pm and we were expecting to arrive at 10:15. We asked kindly if someone could stay later than 10pm to check us in and they refused to do so despite us asking several times. The owner of the lodging gave us an option to pay £50 extra and stay in another one of his hotels, but later retracted the offer and suggested that we cancelled our stay. He stated that we would receive a full refund within 30 days, but no refund was issued according to an invoice sent to me via email. I was given the impression that they couldn't be bothered, and were not even willing to stay an extra 15 minutes, despite me stating that we would be only 10-15 minutes late.
- Awful customer service, no assistance given to us and not even a refund despite being offered one. If I could rate 0/10 - I would.
