Easy access to the Ferries to Bute/ Tarbert and Dunoon ..Andrew , our host was very helpful and made our stay memorable.We used a wheelchair and his concrete ramp was ideal for entering and leaving this spacious property. Noise from the road is almost minimal, perhaps if you sit in the front garden but we spent all time in the back garden watching sunrises, ships passing by, listening to bird songs early morning, fishing from the private beach. Location worked well for us, we used our car to get around, nearest supermarket is in Dunoon about 15 minutes drive away. The property is well maintained, decorated, comfortably furnished, heating, WiFi...

Although the weather does not form part of the contract, we only had one day of rain. Only advice is - don't follow the last little bit of sat-nav route unless you are in something like a Hummer! "Staff were welcoming, professional & helpful. Spa and bar lovely. All made for a very relaxing stay. Room comfortable if a little warm. Evening meal was good although perplexed that steak served with either potato or vegetables unless you took one as a side dish. Breakfast very enjoyable had full Scottish one day then haddock the next. Will definitely go back."

"We had a fabulous stay at Duck Bay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, delivered excellent service at all times. We loved our room. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with fantastic views down the length of Loch Lomond towards Ben Lomond. The food was tremendous and good value. A fantastic experience all round. "
