"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"A fantastic place to stay to enjoy the coast and mountains of Asturias. The two terraces are amazing and there is a great set of furniture on each to enjoy the sun from morning to evening. The apartment has everything you could need and is obviously a loved home, it made staying here even more special. Friendly and helpful communications from Felipe throughout made us feel at home. Perfect for those, like us, wanting to be away from it all and perfect for exploring the spectacular Picos de Europa. "We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "The hotel is modern and is a touch of luxury. Our room was spacious, comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Area is quiet for sleeping. Staff were helpful and courteous. Toiletries were a step above. Parking was easy and free. Close to beach and cafes and a nice stroll to main town centre. There is a small fridge in the room and a pod coffee machine. We wish we had time to stay longer. "

"This a splendid hotel in the mountains with a spectacular view. The ideal retreat for those who want get away from the hustle and bustle of life. The indoor pool spa and outdoor pool are superb. I only wished that that there was open access to the indoor pool spa and the restaurant did not need reservations. Being on vacation, I prefer an unstructured schedule where I can eat and bathe whenever I want. Also, I prefer to be in a hotel surrounded by cafes, restaurants, markets etc. For my taste this hotel is a bit isolated. Nevertheless, it is ideal for those seeking this type of vacation retreat."
