"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

The apartment is situated to the south a short tram ride (about 10 mins) from old town/Dom or about a 30 min walk along the river which is pleasant. "My family and I took my father to Cologne for the weekend and stayed here. The owner communicated with us very well and we loved the location of the property. The only recommendations I would have is to have some sort of check-in/check-out sheet at the property with pertinent information on it. As well as map with areas to park your vehicle. "We had only one night, which was - unfortunately - Christmas Eve. This meant that all regular restaurants were closed, including the one of the hotel itself. We ended up eating in a Kebab fast food place. The breakfast buffet of the hotel the next morning was phenomenal."

"For my needs, location and price, this hotel worked very well. Apart from the breakfast room and a few seats in reception there are no public areas to relax. However my room was comfortable enough and you could purchase drinks and snacks from reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the art hanging around the corridors and I loved the view of the cathedral from my room. "
