Where The Wild Things Are- Blue Ribbon Fly Fishing Cabin & No Lift Line Skiing

This rustic 2 bedroom cabin rests serenely on the Stillwater River, a Blue Ribbon trout stream that sits in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains. A fly fisherman’s dream, your stay includes access to the 2 house fly rods, two pairs of men’s waders and wading boots and one pair for a child aged 8-12, as well as a fully equipped fly tying table with a vice, magnifying glass light and all the line, hooks, beads and material any angler might need. After a day outside, fix your favorite cocktail and relax at the bar inside over a game of chess or backgammon while you catch the sunset from one of the house’s three waterfront porches.

With two queen beds and 6 twins located in the loft, the cabin also makes a cozy getaway for a couple of families with children. Note: one of the Queen bedrooms opens to the loft, the other is private on the first floor. River views from nearly every spot in the house bring the outdoors in, whether you’re preparing a meal, playing darts, or staying in bed reading your favorite book. The guitar on the wall is begging to be played by the firepit and a smart tv is provided in the living room where you can connect your devices via Bluetooth. Wifi to be installed soon, and with it the ability to connect to your personal streaming apps on screen.

Only 40 minutes from the quaint ski town of Red Lodge (no lift lines!), 35 minutes to Billings, an hour and 30 minutes from Bozeman and roughly 2 to Yellowstone National Park via Cooke City.

Great spot.
It was everything we hoped it would be. Great house and the location was awesome. It is so close to the river and the house is beautiful inside. Wouldn’t change a thing.

A River Ran Through our dreams!
We had such a great stay/ incredible fishing, fun nights on the porch - and the rushing sound of the river was soothing. Very comfortable and clean! Thank you!

Cool property
Beautiful property, but do not recommend staying there. First the host changed our stay the day before we arrived from a 7 day to 3 day for no reason but she charged me for the full stay and refuses to give a refund. It took almost 2 months to get the deposit back. Horrible host. Book at your own risk. Vbro has been not much help
