"Staff were fantastic. Hotel building and location were amazing. Great views across to the straights and mountains. Breakfast was really good, dinner was ok. Main issue was that we were not in the main building but a separate one (lodge). Walls there are paper thin unfortunately and could hear everything in room next door. Boiler from room nextdoor was also super loud. Not great for 200 a night! I'm sure the rooms in the main building are much better so would be good to come back and stay in them...

"Wonderful b&b, with lovely big rooms and friendly staff. Perfect location in the heart of Conwy, the Y Capel is a beautifully renovated old chapel with well equipped rooms. The sister pub has wonderful food with an excellent breakfast included. Great price too. Would definitely recommend. "

"The property was not only located in the most convenient location imaginable (I was working in the castle, which is literally just across the road!), but the hotel is very nice in itself. The room I was in was small, but not in a bad way. I had space for everything I needed, the phone signal and WiFi were strong, the bed was comfortable, there were even complimentary biscuits! "A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel. "Very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable host. Great location, fantastic locally sourced breakfast, with standout attention to detail, like little choclates in the room, and if you run out of tea and coffee there is extra in a box on the landing. There are lot of choices in and around Betwys but we felt this was definitely one of the best. "

"We had great few days away, it was made by the fact the owner moved our room from the second floor down to the first floor with better facilities."

"The room was very spacious and comfortable. The property is old (steeped in history) but the room had all the features we needed. The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. The bed was a little creaky and the pillows were a little thin/soft for my preferences, but perfectly comfortable and adequate. Great value for money. Great location. Highly recommend the breakfast!! A great stay - would stay again. "

"Nice and close for shopping, beach and pubs. Macerator toilet activates 2-3 times during the night. Annoying! Can be a bit noisy with night time revellers. Only had board, didn't sample breakfast. Plenty of food choices within short walking distance. Overall I would recommend and I would stay there again. "

"Overall property very nice , owner excellent at communication. Bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge and dining room well decorated and ideal for large family gathering. Would stay again.Couple of areas I would say for improvement.1 kitchen cupboards could do with updating, one was hanging off when we arrived.2. As its dog friendly I would recommend the garden its fenced off as it’s open from back to front ie wraparound and our dogs could get over /through driveway gate "

"Our apartment had everything and more that we needed to enjoy our stay. It had a well equipped kitchen in order to cook a variety of meals. The lounge and bedroom areas were comfortable, and the bathroom had a spacious shower unit. There was also had a parking space right next to the door. Will be booking again!"
