We’re excited to share our magical A-frame cabin! Just minutes from North Cascades National Park, this secluded retreat offers direct hiking trail access, a private waterfall, and stunning views of Sutter Creek, which you can hear flowing from the deck. Unwind in the covered hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or simply enjoy the tranquil beauty of the woods. Combining rustic charm with modern comforts, this charming creekside cabin is your perfect getaway for both adventure and relaxation.
** Important note about the winter months: we get a lot of rain and snow (snow usually comes late December-February). Route 20 is shut down meaning access to hiking around North Cascades National Park is more limited. Our cabin is well equipped with everything you may need to have a cozy winter wonderland stay, including a year-round hot tub and Netflix. There are several fun nature walks nearby, like the bald eagle guided nature walk on Saturdays and Sundays from December 14th to February 16th, at the Skagit River Bald Eagle Interpretive Center!

Important Note About North Cascades National Park:
We are a short 11 minute drive to the North Cascades National Park! During the winter (typically end of November/early December through April/May) part of Highway 20 and driving access to the park are closed. You are still able to get to our Cabin using Highway 20 as that section is open all year round, but you are unable to access the park. You are, however, able to drive to the entrance, park and snow shoe in if you'd like.
The part of Highway 20 that is closed is on the west side at milepost 134 at the Ross Dam Trailhead and on the east side, at milepost 171 at the Silver Star Gate, near Mazama.
An alternative hiking destination for the winter months is the Rockport State Park which is only a 4 minute drive from the cabin. You are able to purchase a day pass on your phone once you arrive.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
As the cabin is located in a remote, secluded area, keep in mind that there are friendly neighborhood dogs that you may see around or may pop by and say hello!
It isn't often, but there could be occasional wifi outages due to weather-related reasons. We try our best to monitor these outages, and give our guests a heads up!
