"We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights end of March but were let down by a number of factors in the control of the owner ie. 1. No reply received to 4 messages sent to the owner over a 4 week period until the day before we arrived. 2. Only 1/4 of a toilet roll provided. 3. We had to make up the bed. 4. TV had a moveable aerial which we had to balance on a box in the window to get reception. Only limited local tv channels provided 5. Only perfunctory information provided. In addition parking was...

"The gite was lovely. It was quiet and we rested well. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was very good and clean. We just found the location to far to walk to any bars shop for us as we are older but for people wanting to go on long walks it would be great."

"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"Excellent place for a week with the family. Facilities good. We all loved the jacuzzi. Off road parking and really convenient location for visits to the Normandy beaches, Mont St Michel, Granville etc Lovely beach and dune walks locally and reasonably close to good supermarkets. Next time we'll remember that shops have different closure times to ours. Only downside was steepness of stairs but our senior was glad of the downstairs bedoom"

"The property was exactly as listed and was near the village and the beech too. The property manager was excellent and very helpful."

"What a wonderful place! We are a family of four and were worried that our two boys would run out of things to do but they loved it! The garden is big enough to explore, play football, badminton and get lost in. The swing and outdoor shower were an added bonus. The house is perfectly located 1hr from Caen, 20 minutes from Vire and an easy drive to the D day beaches. There is a beautiful lake near by which has pedalos and canoes for hire and for adrenaline junkies there is the Normandie Luge and...

"There were seven adults and three children staying and as there was a sink in each bedroom and three bathrooms there was no queing to get ready in the morning. The very large conservatory was where a lot of time was spent, mainly due to the pool table. It was a very warm period and it was nice to sit and eat under one of the trees in the large garden. "Excellent place for a week with the family. Facilities good. We all loved the jacuzzi. "This hotel is situated above the main area of the seaside so it's a walk either up or down quite a steep hill to get to restaurants and shops- good for keeping fit! The staff were excellent and helpful but we had to change our room when the shower broke which meant we were moved to a smaller room. That spoilt our stay a bit as we had a lot of luggage and stuff."
