I didn't use the pool area/bar (this seems more suitable for twenty-something year olds who are there to PARTY). A bit of a party house but it did NOT make my stay uncomfortable.The lift was not working (but staff did the heavy lifting). "Excellent position in Victoria St 2 minutes walk from Kings Cross station. Not a “luxury” hotel but certainly value for money. Staff were excellent- welcoming and helpful. Our ensuite room was small but adequate. Being able to open the windows was a real bonus Small and basic kitchen enables preparation of own meals if required. "
