Peaceful Home On A Hill In Cookeville, Tennessee

Quiet street located on a dead end street so no through traffic. There are so many birds to watch including the beautiful red Cardinals and their mates. All new furniture with all new mattresses. Since I love Nashville and music I have done a music theme in the home I am from Bakersfield, CA so you will see Merle Haggard and Buck Owens' album covers on the wall. Also from Robert's Western World in Nashville Brazil Billy. Vince Gill and Paul Franklin with their Bakersfield Sound covers. My property is located 73.8 miles from Nashville Airport 1hr 13 minutes. The home is conveniently located right off I 40 but not close enough to hear any traffic noise. So after you enjoy Broadway and all Nashville has to offer plan on coming to Cookeville and enjoy the Cummins Falls State Park, Dogwood Park, Hidden Hollow Park, Cookeville Depot Museum, Tennessee Legend Distillery and Red Silo Brewing Company, Hix Farm Brewery, Cookeville History Museum. Home is located 1.8 miles from Lanes Bend a popular wedding venue. Our home is located 2.21 hours to Dollywood, 1.37 hours to Knoxville when traffic is good. Many great restaurants my favorite Cracker Barrel and Cheddar's and many more. Instead of having the travelers pay $59.00 for a non refundable damage insurance policy I have a $700.00 refundable damage deposit. If you choose to pay the non refundable insurance cover of $59.00 I can remove the refundable damage deposit. On my other houses the guests who elect to pay the refundable damage deposit 99.9 % of the time those guests get the whole amount refunded within a couple of days when the cleaner goes in and tells me all is in good shape. If you damage anything or leave stains on towels or bedding that won't wash out the cost of replacement will be deducted. If you are traveling with pets there is $100.00 plus tax per pet. Please answer the question that you will have a pet when making the reservation so VRBO collects the fee at the time of booking. If traveling with additional pets message me that you are. The additional fee will be requested.
There is a Ring Door Bell Camera located by the front exterior door. I captures motion from cars diving up the drive way and activity on the front lawn and at the front door if someone rings the bell the Ring Chime sounds are dogs barking and the Chime is plugged in by the bar. There are no internal cameras in the house.

The home was clean, charming, and in a great location. Access was easy and there were clear instructions for just about everything throughout the home. We didn't find ourselves wanting for anything during out stay. Carol was very communicative and went way above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Our family truly appreciated it!

This home was incredibly clean and the perfect place for us to stay. We were visiting family in the area, so didn't spend any daytime at this house, but sleeping there was quiet and comfortable. We could have used more blankets, as we weren't supposed to used the decorative comforters and not every room had extra covers, but overall beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!

We enjoyed our family stay at this 3 bdrm, 2 full bath ranch home on a hill in a nice neighborhood. The kitchen includes a nice selection of cookware. Washer and dryer worked well. The house was perfectly clean. Easy access not far off 111 or I40. Excellent communication with the owner. Will book again next time we have a need near Cookeville.

Very cozy and welcoming home
I would like to thank Carol for everything. The house is amazing, very clean, quiet area, and very close to the venue for our sons weeding. She went above and beyond from the time we booked the house to the time we checked out. Carol was very engaged, making sure all the details were communicated clearly and precisely. The house itself was perfect, plenty of room for the wedding party to do whatever they needed, yet homie enough to sit and watch a movie with family. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to get away from the hustle of life or needing an amazing house near the venue. If i could, i would give this whole experience better than the best rating.

A Peaceful Comfortable Convenient Gem!
We spent 5 nights in Carol's house and felt totally at home! As the listing says it is on a quiet street and was very peaceful, especially sitting on her patio and looking at the beautiful scenery! The house was clean and the beds were comfortable and the shower was great too! The house is decorated in a county music decor which added a nice touch! It is centrally located to Cookeville and Monterey where we spent time enjoying the State Parks and many delicious restaurants. Highly recommend checking out Ralph's Donuts, voted in the top 25 donut shops in America. Thank you Carol for being so wonderful to us and God Bless You!

Carol was very friendly and kind, her place accommodated my family perfectly. It was beautiful, very peaceful, and we enjoyed all of nature around us. My husband and I spent most of our time on the covered back patio listening to the birds sing! If your looking for a Gem away from the city.. this is your place! ENJOYYYY!

We were looking for a family home to stay at that could hold six adults comfortably that was close to a wedding venue and this home fit that bill. One of our favorite things was to listen to the birds while having a cup of coffee on the back porch where we saw a deer. The home was very clean, it included the washer and dryer and the property owner was very helpful.

The property is situated in a quiet neighborhood, and we really enjoyed the rural atmosphere, while being close to restaurants, gas, grocery stores and highway. Also, a short distance from a park that has a partially paved path that leads to a beautiful waterfall. The house is nicely furnished, clean and fresh, plenty of cozy blankets and throws, and there is a massage chair! That was a nice surprise.
