"Stayed here a few times and can't know it... Great location, allows pets, great value, kitchenettes in the rooms are super handy... parking can be a bit tricky when busy, and the rooms a bit toasty.... But other than that it's a great stay."

"Really enjoyed it and it’s in a good location for pubs and for the bus out. The room was clean, however sofa isn’t comfortable and neither is the bed, leaving no comfort whatsoever which would have been nice when your tired travelling around the lakes. The light from the emergency exit also made it really hard to sleep. The key for the door needs fixing. It took us atleast 5 minutes everytime to get in, I believe the key is twisted but needs replacing. Overall I think it’s worth the money...

"What an amazing property! We could not have been more impressed. Just gorgeous. Very, very happy with my experience with friends on my 50th, it was just wonderful. Our host was really helpful and helped on follow up queries. Can get a bit colder in the night for those staying up late, but on balance I could not be more happier about my stay. All my guests were hugely impressed with the venue. "

A 5 minute walk from the centre of town and lots of restaurants and pubs but far enough away from the centre to be private. Amazing views. "Beautiful views… The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The host Janet was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and completely respected our privacy. Awesome place to stay, with amazing walks just outside the door. We loved the waterfall which was a very short walk away… The track leading to the accommodation is covered in potholes which is the only downside. The views and the walks outweigh this minor inconvenience. We highly recommend…"

"Overall the staff here were great and the room I stayed in was clean and well maintained. I liked that fact that I was shown around and I also enjoyed the breakfast. "Let me start by saying thank you to the whole team for making our recent stay so incredible. We were with you last week Wednesday - Friday. We were put in one of the upper level rooms with a partial view of the lake and it was a fantastic room. From our very first interaction with security at the gate, to checking in with David who was excellent, and all of our interactions whilst we were with you, we had a lovely time. We also booked Thermal journey and a treatment each which we had on the Thursday, the spa was equally as impressive. We also had the pleasure of meeting Puppy Holly (and Tim) which was one of my fiancés highlights. Special mention to Mel in the Winander bar who was lovely and we had several conversations with."

Best Accommodation in Bowness by far

"We’ve just returned from celebrating my birthday weekend and we've had the best time ever. We truly did feel like a King and Queen for the weekend! All the staff were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful with the best views of Lake Windermere 😍 Thank you for an amazing stay Love from The Parr’s xx Just want to add we’ve been coming to Bowness for around 15 years to celebrate my birthday weekend but this was the first time staying at Belsfield as it’s also our 20th year of being Married (August). We have always admired it from afar and have stayed in surrounding accommodations but this weekend has blown all the accommodations out of the water. We have had the best weekend ever. Thank you Belsfield :)"
